salvia 2 001.jpg
Here is some sweet root growth after a week or so

Here are some more pictures to illustrate my setup

I should have some cuttings ready in a few months

I think this method of growing salvia is faster than soil, but more expensive

I payed about £70 for this setup , with most being the CFL lights, if you have a greenhouse or sunny spot, then cost can be much lower.

Fancy set ups, both of you. I can't wait to see how it turns out (so far so good it seems)!

hey redfieldtnt
could you post pics of your setup? sounds good :D

how are those nutes working for you? i use hyrdogen peroxide and vitalink , sometimes with superthrive.

Reservoir size - full up to bottom of the pots :)

Thanks Ulmdorgr

Right now i'm using only maxi grow bloom general hydroponics line some superthrive and cal mag actually.I'm not sure what hydroponic calea zacatechichi or salvia or mint or morning glory prefer nutewise so right now Im using the bottle feed schedule. The hydroponic mint started off as a cutting I rooted in water and its starting to look like a bush and the morning glory vine is like couple feet long now from seed so they love it I guess.

The celea za was near dead when I opened the box so im not sure if she likes that res with the nutes yet but time will tell.
The salvia plants wont go into a bubbler till they get a bit stronger I'm not sure if they got over the shipping shock yet its only been like a few days.

im still not sure how to embed a youtube link here :D

Anyway these plants on this window have some full sun I think for a couple of hours but most of the day they are covered by the trees that stand over our house.

I like the set up. I got a 5 Gallon bucket and a sweet banana pepper growing hydroponically it's my first time
so It is my test subject. But yeah my eventual goal is to have a great hydroponics set up like yours.
I heard Salvia grows REALLY fast in hydro.

Best luck for your ambition. Here i can say only that growing salvia is not as easy as you think i do have a garden and i grow potato there but salvia is different so take care and best luck.
