Help On Growing Salvia Divinorum

Leaves turning black and dying

Postby naabi » Tue Dec 08, 2015 7:02 pm

Greetings everyone! I'm brazilian, new to the forum and to the world of Salvia growing.

About 2 weeks ago I bought a rooted cutting, I noticed a small blackenig on the edge of one of the leaves, but thought it was okay. This is how my plant looks now, it has lost 2 leaves already, and the new small leaves that originate on the branches get black before they even grow. What is happening and what should I do to save my plant?
I did notice there are some animals on the vase, a few worms and small snails, maybe that's the problem?

I keep my salvia in shade, with less than 2 hours of direct sunlight a day. I was watering every day but stopped since the leaves fell.

Thank you in advance!

Use a humidity tent to restore the humidity. Water only if the soil is bone dry.
