Hello world

Postby Sentia » Tue May 11, 2010 6:45 am

Hi all,

I ended up here after deciding that I would like to grow my own Salvia plant. I have had a fascination for healing plants since I was a child. Recently, my first encounter with Salvia prompted me to get more involved with my interest, and I am now looking forward to cultivating a psychedelic, healing and tasty mini-garden in my apartment. I'm currently growing a couple of peyote cacti, as well as some more traditional culinary and medicinal herbs, and would love to add the Green Goddess to my collection as she was the inspiration behind it all. I paid for my peyotes, but I don't feel that Salvia - especially the living plant - is something to be measured in money. I have unsuccessfully tried to obtain cuttings in my local community, so now I would like to offer a home to any of her offspring that this online community is willing to share with me. I look forward to being a part of this project, and sharing my experiences with you.

Love,
Sentia

I'd also like to point out that everything growing in my garden is totally 100% legal where I live. You know, just in case "they" are watching.

Apparently nobody on Gumtree or Freecycle has any Salvia, or if they do they are unwilling to share...

Welcome. Boolie is our #1 cutting giver, and he has successful shipped to the UK before, so you're in luck!
