Sviet-Salvia Grow Log

sviet is slowly starting to get worse. The stem rot is continuing downward. I took a small cutting though im a tad bit doubtful if it will root... We can only hope. I fear that this log will be finished soon. Prehaps if someone would be willing to send a cutting to me in the future it would be greatly appreciated.. The bugs have really taken its toll. As soon as they started to really emerge my plant took a turn downward.

Well, if I were you I'd do my best to save Sviet, even if you do take one or more cuttings and try to salvage them separately. So now we know how destructive pests can be . . . not without reason does Salvia have a reputation for coming back from the dead. I'd find a way to make sure the bugs are gone and then treat Sviet as any normal SD plant would want to be treated. She may surprise you!

yeah I have rid the bugs for the most part... Im still going to not give up until the end.

She's delicious, you can't blame them. I'm crossing my fingers for you. At least you've had her in your midst. I'm jealous.

sveit is now dead... bugs got inside went down the steam and the top down went black and died...
