Hey guys sorry for all the mess thats been happening with the forum today. I am working on editing the code and finding a new template that will suite us. This default one doesn't look all that great.

if anyone has a template to suggest feel free.

I'm torn. I want it to be unique and appealing to people's first impressions, but I also don't want it to change everything and make it temporarily foreign to me an the other regular users. Then again, I can handle the change.

Whatever rocks your boat man. I think anyone can handle a little change.
Personally i'm fine with the look. The content is what i'm after ;)

Originally I wrote my response as against the change, because I really like the simplicity. The simple look is only bad if there are no members, but we gets plenty of people regardless, and since its simple it doesn't require maintenance. Every time you upgrade, customized tweaks might have to be altered.

I believe i have the edit set to 60 minutes ill have to double check. This way just in case someone decides to wipe out a whole post that we enjoy such as a grow log, will have to contact a mod to do so.

I read that this is a good idea on another site so that we do not lose content.
Shall i make it 120 minutes?

I guess for grow logs this isnt the best idea because you want to keep adding pictures to the first post over time, right?
I see where your coming from now. i guess we need 2-4 weeks to be able to edit something for grow logs.

Maybe that wasnt such a good idea after all. I just didnt want to lose any content.
Ill edit it in a bit.
thanks for bringing this up guys

I think members should be able to redact as much information as they like, especially if they may be under scrutiny of law...
