I hope that you can locate a local strain that would be very exciting.
I wish you luck on your search.

No Problem Once my cuttings root ill upload pictures of them so we can compare.

I have the super green Malaysian and the Red Vein Thailand Strains
The funny thing is these to strains look really similar except for the leaf stem.
They do not however resemble the Rifat strain at all. They look totally different.

when i say leaf stem i am talking about the stem that hooks to the nod of the major tree stem.
The stem that is at the end of every leaf.

hope that helps
sorry i wasn't more clear i don't know what its called i need to study botany.
I need to learn about how to ID plants better. sorry for the confusion.

If it's the petiole then now the strain is Thai.

I'll just wait for the pics to be sure :)

Thanks for all the help!

Your are correct Sir that is exacly what i am talking about. thanks for the lesson.
I obtained that bit of information from BOB about figuring out the strain.
He grows 4-5 different kratom strains, so i believe he would know better than i or most.

Im still wondering about the Pink vein indo. I wonder what the stems look like. There are also a few white vein strains.

I'll leave it to you guys to determine the strain!

Those are good kratom plants the leaves are oddly shaped this makes me think that this might be "pimp's kratom" Maeng da.

I don't even know what the strain is man. all i know is that it's kratom
I did however receive some maeng da seeds but they haven't germinated yet. We'll find out in a few more months.

another thing i noticed is at times red vein thai and super green Malaysian can look similar but most of the time if both plants are healthy and do not have any nutrient deficiency the super green Malaysian leaf veins look green from the top side of the leaf. The bottom side may be a little red or pinkish.

The RVT strain has red veins all over the underside of the leaf but the difference is you can see the red veins from the top side of the leaf.

hope that helps.
