Bought some rue from botanical spirit. All i can say is they are fucking VIABLE! Man, my last purchase of P Harmala didn't give me shit so i decided to sprinkle a few pinches of seeds because i was a little pessimistic. But guess what?

Thanks SF!

I read about plants all the time and when i get curious and impulsive i'll buy the seeds lol. sometimes it backfires though, i have quite a few duds!

My message to everyone out there. I didn't grow them overnight. At some point i had to start with one plant and the rest was history. :D I find plants/trees as my philosophical guides and i respect them dearly :)

But I spent so many nights
thinking how you did me wrong
I grew strong
I learned how to carry on
and so you're back
from outer space....

Oh yes i did... random shizzles my nizzle

Finally a chaliponga sprout yesterday!!! This one was treated about 3-4 weeks ago in 500PPM of gibberellic acid.
I've mentioned before that i only need one because i can always make clones. So here she is!

Love your garden man. Had any luck with Chacruna? I'm growing one thats about 5-6 inches tall atm. Any tips on stimulating the growth? I'm also trying to germinate some T. Peruvianus. Could take any pointers there!!!

Once again, I love your babies!

I just got the chaliponga(Diplopterys cabrerana) to germinate but i've read she loves fertilizer and shade.
That goes well on chacruna too. What do you have, viridis or alba? I suggest you give them organic fertilizer while keeping the soil acidic. Use blackstrap molasses and apple cider vinegar every two weeks. If you want to produce insane growth then use 100% worm castings lol. That is the steroids of the plant world!!!

Peruvian Torch... Honestly just forget about it and she'll still grow haha. I'm still on the seedling stage so i don't know how to grow them properly. I do know that i need to water them sparingly but fertilizers, etc... no idea.

Chaliponga is a tropical plant so it won't have problems over here. I can tell this plant will be a fast grower.
In other news: 2nd seedling died. It rotted north to south. Ah at least i have one healthy seedling and still awaiting 40+ to germinate :)

Hi. Could you please tell me what plant this is? It is SO beautiful. I am very interested in growing one myself. Sorry for my ignorance on this. I've just never seen a plant like this before, and it's simply wonderful looking. I love the way the leaves have that beautiful purple design on them.

Thanks.

Weird, I never saw your posts in this thread, Swatch. Coleus blumei... so hard to find. I have one growing with the same coloration, but I don't trust that it, or DanG's, is authentic. Would have to try eating it to find out...
Anything that I post is fictional and is purely part of my imagination. Do not attempt any of the activities described above.
