Trylski's lagochilus inebrians log

Postby Trylski » Fri Jun 25, 2010 5:16 pm

So I recieved my seeds about a week and a half ago. Soaked them in water for a few hours then planted them into a mix of 25% soil, 25% compost and 50% cactus soil. And today I did notice the first shoot starting to come up! Will post a few pics once the leaves uncurl and she gets out of the soil properly! :D Its midnight and I'm wide awake now due to the excitement... I'm a sad person aren't I?

Sad? Heck, sounds like you gave birth after very painless labor!

Second one has sprouted up during the day. Just noticed that a clump of soil was randomly sitting an inch higher that the rest. Brushed it away to find a stem with the seed still on the top of it. How does one remove the shell of the seed from the top of the plant without killing it?

Sadly its telling me the board attatchment quota has been reached :( No piccies until I do a flickr account or summat then
